John McNeice is a Research Analyst in the Information Security channel with 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. His coverage includes security in and for cloud and ‘cloud native’ environments as well as providers of security services. Prior to joining 451 Research, John spent the previous decade working for Managed Security Services Providers including SilverSky, BAE Systems and Symantec, and Cloud Service Providers such as Navisite and Rackspace. In all of his previous roles, John has worked closely with security operations center (SOC), software development and cloud infrastructure teams. He has actively engaged with all of the major cloud providers and most of the major security vendors as strategic partners. John started his professional career as a Research Analyst covering technology stocks for an investment research firm in Boston. He holds an MBA from Boston College, where he studied Technology Product Management, and a BA in Economics from Williams College.
